Positive:
The property was as described and very close to the river, with a lovely view. The check-in guide with photos was very helpful, and the check-out list was streamlined. We enjoyed rock hounding at the river, going into town, and hiking in Armstrong Redwoods, all of which were easy distance.
Negative:
We really didn’t have any complaints. A minor thing is It was uncharacteristically warm for this time of year and a guide to the remote for the AC and the modes for the AC would have been helpful (we didn’t see one in the house book, but maybe we missed it).

Great experience with this house which met my expectations for a quiet , spacious house in a scenic and relaxing setting that I needed in order to focus on a work related project. It was great to set up my laptops at the large wooden kitchen table facing nothing but the beautiful trees trough the wall of windows. The cabin matched the description and photos, and was a very check in and check out.

The river access was adequate, but a dock would have greatly improved it
The river access was adequate, but a dock would have greatly improved it. The bedrooms are really small. The common space is very adequate and nice except that the kitchen has absolutely no place to put anything. The addition of shelves would make a huge difference, and the addition of cupboards would be awesome.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer and Jordan’s spot on the Russian River. The home has a great cabin feel, and it’s nestled right in a small grove of redwoods so it almost feels like a treehouse. Beds and pillows were comfy (but the bunk bed is really for kids—even my 13 year old had a hard time with the top bunk!). We walked down to the river to swim and were pleasantly surprised to find a bunch of tubes to use to float on the river. Overall, this is a great house with amazing views and river access.

This was my first time renting a vacation home with such thoughtful details and well-stocked kitchen essentials. The bathroom was equally impressive — it had everything from extra toothbrushes to shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even toothpaste. The entire house was spotless, and the best part is that when you head downstairs, you step right into the river for a swim. Truly a perfect stay!

Fun stay near the Russian River! This place is definitely rustic with the quaintness that comes with a dated home but offered everything we needed. The front bay windows looked over the river and was a great view of the trees and river (albeit with some brambliness and clutter as a result of the big winter storms). Jordan and Jennifer were extremely helpful in giving us great restaurant and kayak rental recommendations that made our weekend wonderful!

We enjoyed Jordan and Jennifer's Last Resort cabin and its unique style and charm. The cabin is cozy and adorable, and has an amazing view of the river through multiple floor to ceiling windows. We loved the cozy living room and the claw foot bathtub in the bathroom. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for a place to relax and be inspired by the trees I'd recommend this place. The large dinning room table overlooking the trees and window through floor to ceiling windows is amazing for gathering thoughts and inspiring new ones.

Lovely spot for a weekend getaway
Lovely spot for a weekend getaway! The cabin is cozy, well-appointed, and private, with beautiful views of trees and the river. Downtown Guerneville is an 8-min drive away with great restaurants, coffee shops, etc. and the redwoods are only a few minutes out of town. Jordan was super helpful when we arrived in the dark and had a hard time figuring out how to get in. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location for river activities! A little hard to find in the dark. We had a great weekend exploring Guerneville and relaxing by the river. Would visit again!

The property was just as described. They had water toys ready to go. It was very safe and secure for pets. I stayed a might alone and I felt very safe and it was beautiful. We are excited to rebook for next year!

The cabin was cozy and in a great location. If you take the back path a bit further there is an incredible community beach. We also used the kayak and it was a ton of fun.
