Clean and quiet. Great spot.
The whole family loved it especially how spacious it was and the view of the river

Keep in mind the house is a good 45 min walk from downtown Guerneville, so requires a car and some advance planning logistically to make it work.
We love this part of the Russian River
We love this part of the Russian River! If you want river-front access to paddle and play this is a good spot. The beach is a little small and not private, we were there on a holiday weekend and it was too crowded to set up any chairs. The up side is that there is a small island very close that was about a 30 sec paddle away and we could set up camp there for the day (we paddled our gear over).
The house is paddling distance to Stumptown Brewery and a little shop where you can get sandwiches or coffee and breakfast in the am (10min paddle).
The house is VERY clean for a property that allows dogs, no sign of previous pet stays so if you don’t have pets and that is a concern for you then it is safe to book! The house is rustic and old but very cool. We loved being surrounded by all the trees. Beds are comfortable, towels are soft, shower has a lot of hot water to allow for 5 showers, one after the other.

The entire house was charming
The entire house was charming. We felt at home with our two dogs. The acces to the river is a plus and a very quiet and friendly neighborhood.

The river access was adequate, but a dock would have greatly improved it. The bedrooms are really small. The common space is very adequate and nice except that the kitchen has absolutely no place to put anything. The addition of shelves would make a huge difference, and the addition of cupboards would be awesome.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer and Jordan’s spot on the Russian River. The home has a great cabin feel, and it’s nestled right in a small grove of redwoods so it almost feels like a treehouse. Beds and pillows were comfy (but the bunk bed is really for kids—even my 13 year old had a hard time with the top bunk!). We walked down to the river to swim and were pleasantly surprised to find a bunch of tubes to use to float on the river. Overall, this is a great house with amazing views and river access.

This was my first time renting a vacation home with such thoughtful details and well-stocked kitchen essentials. The bathroom was equally impressive — it had everything from extra toothbrushes to shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even toothpaste. The entire house was spotless, and the best part is that when you head downstairs, you step right into the river for a swim. Truly a perfect stay!

Fun stay near the Russian River! This place is definitely rustic with the quaintness that comes with a dated home but offered everything we needed. The front bay windows looked over the river and was a great view of the trees and river (albeit with some brambliness and clutter as a result of the big winter storms). Jordan and Jennifer were extremely helpful in giving us great restaurant and kayak rental recommendations that made our weekend wonderful!

The big windows with the view was the best part, what a spectacular view. Our pup loved watching the squirrels too. We loved having the kayaks and easy access to the beach and then air conditioning when it got to 100°. Two draw backs; the outdoor furniture was either broken or covered in cobwebs and the primary bed was quite stiff for those other older folks with sensitive backs. Very minor drawbacks and it didn’t affect our stay much at all.

We enjoyed Jordan and Jennifer's Last Resort cabin and its unique style and charm. The cabin is cozy and adorable, and has an amazing view of the river through multiple floor to ceiling windows. We loved the cozy living room and the claw foot bathtub in the bathroom. Highly recommend.

The property was as described and very close to the river, with a lovely view. The check-in guide with photos was very helpful, and the check-out list was streamlined. We enjoyed rock hounding at the river, going into town, and hiking in Armstrong Redwoods, all of which were easy distance.
Negative:
We really didn't have any complaints. A minor thing is It was uncharacteristically warm for this time of year and a guide to the remote for the AC and the modes for the AC would have been helpful (we didn't see one in the house book, but maybe we missed it).

If you're looking for a place to relax and be inspired by the trees I'd recommend this place. The large dinning room table overlooking the trees and window through floor to ceiling windows is amazing for gathering thoughts and inspiring new ones.

Great place and location! Being the closest house to the river was fantastic, also the neighborhood is very walkable. The hosts were perfectly responsive and very helpful. The bathroom was spotless and a beautiful sight to see. Some cobwebs on the railings/some dust but nothing that is out of character for a cabin home.

Great experience with this house which met my expectations for a quiet , spacious house in a scenic and relaxing setting that I needed in order to focus on a work related project. It was great to set up my laptops at the large wooden kitchen table facing nothing but the beautiful trees trough the wall of windows. The cabin matched the description and photos, and was a very check in and check out.

Lovely spot for a weekend getaway
Lovely spot for a weekend getaway! The cabin is cozy, well-appointed, and private, with beautiful views of trees and the river. Downtown Guerneville is an 8-min drive away with great restaurants, coffee shops, etc. and the redwoods are only a few minutes out of town. Jordan was super helpful when we arrived in the dark and had a hard time figuring out how to get in. Would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was cozy and in a great location. If you take the back path a bit further there is an incredible community beach. We also used the kayak and it was a ton of fun.
