Staying here felt like stepping into The Great Gatsby. Such a beautiful, unique home, with tucked-away spaces and details that made exploring it feel like discovering another era. The backyard was gorgeous, and the kayaks were a highlight! A memorable stay in a place with so much character. I would absolutely return.

The home is utter perfection…prime location and so comfy. Plenty of room for our group and so many fun nooks and crannies to discover on the stunning, expansive property! It was absolute heaven! We’re already planning our next trip with the girls. We found our RR home away from home! A side note: my parents needed a slip mat for the shower, the girls loved the bed linens and plentiful supply of towels and blankets; however, we wish the kayaks were clean and had the seat backs. It was very hard on the back to go out for long without them.:/. There was ample parking for several cars and the location is very private and secluded. We loved it!!!! Thank you for welcoming our pup family members too! Jordan was so kind and helpful when a question arose…fantastic host!

We had a great stay! The house was clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed for our weekend. The location was great, and check-in and communication were both easy. We’d definitely recommend staying here! The huge yard and river dock were perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gatsby! Our family loved the beautiful house and property, with plenty of space and easy access to the river. Everything was peaceful, clean, and comfortable. Jordan and Jennifer were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We look forward to staying at the Gatsby again!

Great place on the river
Great place on the river. You can't see the river from the house or porch like some other houses in that area, but the yard and garden area (pretty much an estate) in the backyard with lawns and fruit trees and so many places to sit, was amazing. Very big 3 bedroom house, lots of cool features, and an entirely separate 1-bedroom house. Stayed there with 3 adults and a teen. Jennifer and Jordan are excellent hosts, and go out of their way to help, including bring us a coffee grinder and mailing lost sunglasses!
Some landscape maintenance people came one morning and startled one of the guests who was sleeping. The hosts didn't know they were coming, but the maintenance men left right away after we spoke with them. I found the house a little cluttered with knick-knacks from the era, but I know that's supposed to be the style of the house. Hot tub was great, and we enjoyed the 3 kayaks. 🙂

The Gatsby House is absolutely dreamy
The Gatsby House is absolutely dreamy! From the gorgeous windows and beautiful patio to the HUGE, private yard, every detail made our stay feel truly magical. We loved picking fresh pears, raspberries, and apples right from the property, it felt like a little fairytale.
The home is beautifully appointed and sits directly on the river, making kayaking incredibly easy and convenient. The whole experience felt like stepping onto another continent, surrounded by such a unique and peaceful setting.
The location is fantastic, too, centrally situated between two towns, so it was easy to pop out for dinner, groceries, candy, or anything else we needed.
And the hosts were delightful, warm, responsive, and wonderful to work with. We highly recommend the Gatsby House to anyone looking for a truly special getaway. It was everything we hoped for and more!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this home. The setup is perfect for us as my father enjoys his privacy so the disconnected 4th bedroom/apartment was a splendid surprise. The home and grounds were absolutely stunning, we will be back again soon
Our family had a fantastic time at the Gatsby house
Our family had a fantastic time at the Gatsby house! It was very clean and comfortable, and decorated beautifully. There are so many places inside and outside for everyone to either gather together or to enjoy by yourself. We had a couple minor maintenance issues that the hosts responded to quickly and friendly. We brought our own griddle and instant pot for cooking convenience but otherwise the kitchen had everything we needed. There are several river toys to use but unfortunately we couldn’t blow up the inflatables without a pump, so we just shared what we had. All the rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable to sleep in. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Our family enjoyed all it had to offer. Impressive expansive outdoor space with beautiful landscaping and multiple lounging areas.
The river was easily accessible from the dock - we had an incredible time kayaking and swimming.
The main home is well appointed, spacious but cozy and comfortable. The one bedroom suite is also perfectly appointed with all of the necessities.
Hosts, Jordan and Jennifer were wonderful - friendly and very responsive.
Excellent stay and we hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful experience and are already looking forward to coming back. Jordan and Jennifer were very pleasant and responsive. Their home exceeded our expectations — the property is both expansive and cozy. A rare combination of open space and sweet nooks and crannies. The downstairs sunroom was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon gathering, while the upstairs sunroom was a peaceful spot to sit with a book and watch others playing on the grass down below. In evenings, the living room with its fireplace brought in added warmth and ambiance. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking basics and pots and pans, and It was great to have kayaks and a canoe available right there on the property. Again, we highly recommend this home and hope to return next summer. Thank you Jordan and Jennifer!

The Gatsby house was lovely. The grounds were expansive with so many great seating areas , , a gazebo , hot tub and fruit trees. The house itself was warm and welcoming and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. We look forward to returning .
